Swiss Re's L&H Experience Studies Centre in Kuala Lumpur invites a junior analyst to learn and grow. With guidance, you will develop analytical tools, primarily in R, and support Experience Studies across markets.

You will gain hands-on experience in actuarial analysis, platform testing, reporting, and user support while collaborating with actuaries and technology colleagues worldwide. Training and knowledge sharing are core parts of the role.

Qualifications

• Degree in Actuarial Science or related quantitative field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with data.
• Interest in actuarial analysis, data, technology and programming.
• Proactive, curious and eager to learn new concepts and skills.
• Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.
• Good communication and collaboration in a global team environment.

Responsibilities

• Apply actuarial concepts to build analytical solutions, primarily in R.
• Test new platform features and suggest improvements for user experience.
• Explore automation and emerging analytical techniques to improve processes.
• Deliver operational insights on activity, demand patterns, resource use and service performance.
• Develop and enhance interactive dashboards and visualisations for stakeholders.
