Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an accountant to manage the full set of accounts and generate reports. The role includes updating records in the accounting system, reconciling accounts, and reviewing financial statements to identify abnormal items.

The successful candidate will liaise with auditors, tax agents, and external parties, handle daily billing and E-invoicing, and prepare the statement of comprehensive income and financial position for the company.

Qualifications

• Handle full set of accounts and generate relevant reports.
• Ensure all the accounting records are updated and reconciled in the accounting system.
• Regularly review financial statements and analyze abnormal items.
• Maintain proper record keeping and filing of accounting records.
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, company secretarial and other external parties.
• Handle daily billing and E-invoicing.
• Prepare Statement of Comprehensive Income and Financial Position of the company.

Responsibilities

• Maintain full set of accounts and generate period reports.
• Update and reconcile accounting records in the system.
• Review financial statements and investigate abnormal items.
• Maintain organized filing of accounting records.
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, and company secretaries.
• Process daily billing and E-invoicing tasks.
• Prepare statutory financial statements (CI and FP) for the company.
