Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a professional to manage full sets of accounts, including AP, AR, and G/L, and to perform monthly bank reconciliations and management reporting. You will coordinate with auditors, tax agents, and suppliers, ensuring accuracy and timely financial records.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance, strong analytical skills, and meticulous attention to detail to meet deadlines and support budgeting and cash flow management.

Qualifications

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent in Accounting, Finance, Business Studies, or related field.
• Proven experience in handling full sets of accounts (AP, AR, G/L).
• Knowledge of accounting software, financial reporting, and taxation regulations.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and time-management skills to meet strict deadlines.
• Good communication skills to coordinate with external parties such as auditors, tax agents, and suppliers.
• Meticulous and detail-oriented with high accuracy in handling financial records and documentation.

Responsibilities

• To handle full set of accounts: AP, AR, and G/L.
• To perform monthly bank reconciliation, monthly analysis, daily chq issuance, daily collection.
• To submit management report as per dateline.
• To update monthly ageing report.
• To assist superior as when required.
• To perform any other ad-hod assignment as and when required
• Handle day to day operations of accounting record & filling
• Handle daily accounting tasks such as invoicing, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliation.
• Assist in financial reporting, budgeting, and cash flow management.
• Maintain accurate records and filing systems for accounting and administrative documents.
• Coordinate with auditors, tax agents, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and statutory requirements.
• Support administrative duties related to accounting operations.
