ERM ANZ is recruiting a full time Accounts Receivable Officer based in Kuala Lumpur office, working for the Australian finance team.

This is a key role for the business to ensure collections and cashflow remain on target.

ROLE PROFILE:

The successful candidate will report directly to the Finance Manager and be responsible for full function Accounts Receivable, managing the collections for 5 legal entities.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Daily cash receipting of debtors payments
• New client credit checks
• Approving new clients in the system
• Follow up with Project Managers and Partners for payment from clients
• Build internal client relationships
• Escalate collection issues as needed
• Achieving DSO targets
• Clearing AR bank reconciliation items
• Monthly internal DSO reporting
• Arranging client refunds as needed
• Other ad-hoc tasks as required

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

ERM attracts staff that build excellent relationships with internal stakeholders and staff that are able to work in fast-paced project environments. To be successful for this role you will demonstrate and possess:

• Over 2 years Accounts Receivable experience
• High attention to detail and accurate data entry
• Strong and effective communication skills
• Intermediate to advanced Excel and Microsoft Office skills
• Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Ability to meet collection and cash targets
• Ability to work independently
