Job summary

A leading company in the manufacturing sector seeks an Accounts Receivable Officer to manage customer accounts and ensure timely collections. The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy and possess relevant experience. Responsibilities include monitoring AR reports, customer risk, and liaising with the Sales team while demonstrating a proactive approach in account management.

Manage accounts receivable by generating and reviewing AR reports, monitoring customer risk and payment history to establish early warning signs and identify potential bad debt, following up closely to ensure prompt corrective actions are taken to collect.

Monitor and manage all customer accounts regarding ageing, credit limits, overdue payments, and credit insurance coverage.

Proactively liaise with the Sales team to resolve credit limit issues to ensure timely collection according to credit terms.

Review the front-end process of PP, PO, and GR (SES) for primarily the procurement, planning, and logistics departments.

Check and verify staff claims, follow up, and monitor customer account details for payment and update reports on timing.

Education Qualifications and Relevant Experience:

Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree or professional qualification in Accountancy or equivalent.

Working experience in a manufacturing environment is required.

Fast learner, hardworking, self-motivated, and proactive personality.

Able to work under minimal supervision.
