A well-established private university is looking for a career-minded accounts receivable manager to be part of their team. You will be reporting directly to the Head of Financial Reporting for the role and you will have 2 subordinates directly reporting to you.

Main responsibilities of the Accounts Receivable Manager

1. Oversee the full cycle of accounts receivable process
2. Ensure proper documentation of revenue and collections
3. Ensure timely and accurate completion of monthly closing, account reconciliations, and variance analysis
4. Ensure timely and accurate completion of management reports
5. Ensure AR journal postings are accurate and complete on time

Key requirements

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting/ Finance or equivalent
2. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable strategies
3. Experience in accounts receivable and revenue recognition
4. Pure shared service candidates are not suitable
5. Experience in the education industry will be an added advantage
