Accounts Payable Junior Accountant (Mandarin Speaker, 6 months contract), Your future position?

You will be a part of us, an Accounts Payable team in Givaudan Business Solutions (GBS). You will perform Accounts Payable tasks for us in our APAC production sites to ensure the short time supply delivery. You will report to our AP, Team Leader.

Core Responsibilities:

1. Process Raw Material, IM&S, Freight, Contract & Non-PO vendor invoices in both traditional and simplified Mandarin characters and English
2. Daily communication with China local vendors and stakeholders in Mandarin language to resolve vendor invoice and payment issues
3. Follow-up on various open items, parked items, aged items in SAP
4. Handle stakeholder queries regarding invoice and payment issues
5. Perform invoice/credit memo corrections
6. Participate/organize resolution calls with internal & external stakeholders
7. Perform root cause analysis on recurring errors/issues
8. Ensure all relevant Internal Audit & Business Compliance guidelines, controls and policies are followed
9. Raise awareness in case of issues/problems to P2P Manager as necessary
10. Identify areas of process improvement
11. Assist in updating training materials and conduct training on P2P related topics

Your professional profile includes:

1. Possess a Bachelor Degree in Accounting and Finance or any relevant Field.
2. Proficiency in Mandarin and English is a MUST for handling China operations and vendors to resolve invoice and payment queries.
3. Possess at least 1 year experience in Account Payable.
4. Experience in handling China market is an advantage.
5. Knowledge of SAP Accounts Payable is an advantage.
6. Knowledge of VAT & WHT is an advantage.
