Job description

We are looking for an Account Executive to join our growing team at Moonlight Manufacturing Sdn Bhd. This role is pivotal in maintaining efficient financial operations within our manufacturing business.

What You'll Be Doing

1. Processing and managing accounts payable transactions, including invoice verification, data entry, and payment processing.
2. Ensuring timely and accurate vendor payments while maintaining compliance with company policies and procedures.
3. Reconciling accounts payable ledger to ensure all bills and payments are accounted for and properly posted.
4. Liaising with suppliers to resolve payment discrepancies, disputes, or account inquiries.
5. Preparing and reviewing accounts payable aging reports to monitor outstanding liabilities.
6. Assisting with month-end and year-end closing processes related to accounts payable.
7. Ensuring compliance with financial regulations, internal controls, and audit requirements.
8. Contributing to process improvements to enhance accounts payable efficiency.

What We're Looking For

1. A recognized tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2. 1-2 years of experience in an accounts payable or bookkeeping role.
3. Strong attention to detail with the ability to process high volumes of transactions accurately.
4. Proficiency in accounting software, such as AUTOCOUNT.
5. The ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
6. Ability to communicate in multiple languages, especially to report to Chinese-speaking management.
