Job description

Lead the accounts payable team in managing the accounts payable functions by ensuring all accounts payable and unmatched receipts records are up to date to facilitate timely payment to the suppliers.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Communication with suppliers regarding AP invoices.
  2. Prompt and efficient communication with suppliers and close liaison with internal stakeholders on AP-related issues.
  3. Periodic issuance of credit notes on consigned materials consumption to customers.
  4. Monthly reconciliation of subsidiary ledgers to the General Ledger control account.
  5. Maintenance of bank accounts (excluding those used for supplier payments, e.g., payroll, utilities, reimbursements).
  6. Contributing to the AP automation project, such as document scanning.
  7. Performing any other tasks assigned by the Accountant or Financial Controller.

Job Requirements:
  • Interest in understanding the key financial drivers of business success.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a Professional Accounting qualification (MICPA/ACCA).
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in general accounting or accounts payable, preferably in a manufacturing environment within the electronic industry.
  • Strong knowledge of ERP systems; familiarity with InforLN ERP is an advantage.
  • Fluent in English with strong analytical, business acumen, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Dynamic, mature personality, energetic, meticulous, able to work independently under stress and deadlines, with experience in cost improvement initiatives.
