Job summary

Microtree Malaysia is seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to join our finance team. You will prepare full sets of accounts, manage AP/AR, and ensure postings are accurate using AutoCount or other accounting software. The ideal candidate has a degree or diploma in accounting, 3–5 years of experience, and a responsible, deadline-driven attitude.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma, LCCI or equivalent in Accounting or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in accounting preferred.
• Experience with accounting software; AutoCount is a plus.
• Responsible, with good attitude and able to meet deadlines.
• Mandarin-speaking candidates preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare full sets of accounts and handle AP/AR.
• Check AP invoices and expenses for accuracy and postings.
• Prepare weekly and monthly debtor ageing and collection reports.
• Process payments and perform monthly reconciliations for bank, creditors, and inter-company balances.
• Assist in preparing weekly and monthly reports.
• Assist with E-Invoice compliance, documentation, and month-end reconciliation.
• Handle other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
