Job summary:
  • Available to work on:
    • Monday to Friday: Morning, Afternoon, Evening
    • Saturday: Morning, Afternoon
  • 2-3 years of relevant work experience required
  • Expected salary: RM2,300 per month

Accounts cum Purchasing Officer (based in Tawau)

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in Purchasing and Supply, Accounting, or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role
  • Strong organizational skills and high responsibility level
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities:

  • Source suppliers and purchase spare parts and consumables locally in Tawau
  • Obtain quotations from suppliers and submit for management approval; urgent purchases can be made with plant manager approval to prevent major issues
  • Coordinate with suppliers for delivery
  • Work closely with the storekeeper on purchase requests
  • Submit invoices for payment processing
  • Manage petty cash and keep accurate records
  • Safeguard company cheque books
  • Handle petty cash, allowance claims, reimbursements, wages, and advances for daily workers
  • Assist the plant manager in daily operations of Utara Plant office
  • Perform other tasks as instructed by management
