A leading company in the inorganic chemicals industry seeks an Accounts Manager to handle comprehensive accounting functions. This role includes preparing financial reports, leading budgeting processes, and ensuring compliance with regulations. Ideal candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and several years of relevant experience in finance within the manufacturing sector.

• Handle the full spectrum of accounting functions, including but not limited to preparation of monthly closing, group consolidation, financial reports and analysis.
• Compiling and presenting reports, budget variances and financial statements to management.
• Lead annual finance planning / budgeting processes and prepare the annual operating budget.
• Apply technical knowledge by proposing policies, procedures and internal controls which are in compliance with relevant regulations that are to be applied during the preparation of financial reports.
• Guide staffs in daily activities as well as the closing of monthly accounts.
• Prepare special financial reports requested by management by collecting, analysing and summarizing data and trends.
• Reconcile financial discrepancies by analysing financial information and to recommend corrective action plans to rectify the root cause.
• Analyses manufacturing costs and prepares periodic reports comparing standard costs to actual production costs.
• Any other duties assigned from time to time by the Superior & Management.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, certification in ACCA, CIMA, CPA or equivalent.
• At least 4-5 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Experience in an audit environment for at least 2 years is an added advantage.
• Experience in a large-scale manufacturing plant or trading industries are preferable.
• Proficient in SAP/ERP system.
• Required skill(s): MS Office (Excel, Word & PowerPoint).
• Possesses strong financial analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective team player and proactive personality.
• Possess good interpersonal and communication skills.
