• Managing an accounting department
• Process and purchase assigned merchandise items
• Monitor cash flow statements and predict future trends
• Develop external relationships, for example; solicitors, bankers, Inland Revenue
• Liaise with auditors to ensure annual monitoring is carried out
• Arrange new sources of finance and debt facilities
• Ensure that all transactional and taxation requirements are met
• Keep abreast of changes in regulation, legislation, and industry developments
• Prepare and interpret monthly management accounts and annual reports
• Report to and take up ad hoc assignments from the managing director in a timely manner
