About the role

Hong Guan Tackle (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Accounts Manager to join our dynamic team in Gelang Patah, Johor. As Accounts Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the company's financial accounting and reporting processes, ensuring accurate and timely financial information is provided to support strategic decision-making. This is a full-time position that offers the opportunity to work with a talented and dedicated finance team.

What You’ll Be Doing

Lead Financial Operations
Oversee all accounting, auditing, taxation, and financial functions to ensure smooth and efficient day-to-day operations.

Drive Strategic Planning
Coordinate finance and administrative activities—including financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting—to align with and support the company’s strategic objectives.

Develop Financial Policies
Establish, review, and enhance financial policies and inventory costing systems to improve financial performance and operational efficiency.

Manage Cash Flow
Monitor and supervise cash flow, ensuring effective scheduling of payments and collections for optimal liquidity management.

Liaise with Stakeholders
Serve as the main point of contact for external auditors, tax agents, bankers, company secretaries, and statutory bodies to ensure regulatory compliance and maintain strong professional relationships.

Ensure Compliance and Controls
Implement and uphold robust internal controls to ensure full compliance with statutory, audit, and tax requirements.

Analyse Financial Data
Interpret and analyze financial data to provide meaningful insights that support strategic business decision-making.

Collaborate Across Teams
Work closely with cross-functional teams to streamline financial processes and strengthen internal controls.

Supervise and Mentor
Lead, support, and develop junior members of the finance team to build capability and ensure high performance.

Demonstrate Flexibility
Take on additional responsibilities or special assignments as directed by management, showing adaptability and a proactive attitude.
