Job summary

FRANKY Construction Sdn Bhd in Kuala Lumpur invites a motivated accounting intern to support daily financial activities. You will assist in preparing, processing, and filing invoices, vouchers, and related documents, and help maintain accurate records.

You will gain hands-on experience with data entry, bank reconciliations, monthly reports, and AP/AR support while learning from the Accounts team. Strong Excel skills and a proactive team player mindset are expected.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel.
• Good numerical, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Willing to learn and able to work independently as well as in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing, processing, and filing accounting documents, including invoices, payment vouchers, debit notes, and credit notes.
• Support the Accounts team in data entry and updating accounting records in the accounting system.
• Assist in maintaining proper filing and documentation of financial records.
• Perform bank reconciliation and verify financial transactions under supervision.
• Assist in preparing monthly financial reports and account schedules.
• Support accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) functions, including payment and collection tracking.
• Assist in checking and processing staff claims, petty cash, and expense reimbursements.
• Coordinate with internal departments and external parties on accounting-related matters.
• Ensure accounting records and documents are maintained accurately and confidentially.
• Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned by the supervisor.
