Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a finance professional to manage daily operations and assist in preparing full set accounts including AR, AP, and GL. The role involves preparing monthly financial statements, accounting schedules, and performing bank and creditor/debtor reconciliations.

The candidate should have a Diploma or Degree in Accountancy/Finance with at least 3 years of relevant experience, be proficient in Microsoft Office, and possess strong analytical and multi-tasking abilities.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Accountancy/Finance.
• At least three (3) years of relevant experience.
• Computer literate and well versed in Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge in SAP System will be an advantage.
• Ability to multi-task and work well under deadlines with minimal supervision.
• Strong analytical skills, meticulous and result-oriented.
• Effective communication and team player skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in daily operation and preparation of full set accounts including Account Receivables, Account Payable, General Ledger.
• Assist in preparation of monthly financial statements and accounting schedules and administrative duties including proper filing of documents.
• Perform day-to-day processing of accounts payable and receivables including verifying, classifying, data entry and posting transactions.
• Timely preparation of creditor and debtor reconciliation and bank reconciliation to ensure all transactions are properly taken up and to detect errors.
• Process online payments as required and ensure compliance with the company’s internal policy/procedures.
• Ensure details entered in the system are correct and accurate at all times.
• Undertake other special assignments, ad-hoc functions and related duties as and when required by Superior.
