Komponen Mahir Sdn. Bhd. seeks an Accounts & Finance Manager to oversee finance operations and ensure financial compliance. The ideal candidate will manage bookkeeping, prepare reports, handle payroll, and liaise with auditors. We’re looking for an Accounts & Finance Manager who’s ready to take ownership of our end-to-end finance operations, and play a key role in ensuring financial accuracy, compliance, and stability as we scale. You'll work closely with our leadership team and collaborate cross-functionally to keep things running smoothly behind the scenes – while helping us make smarter, data-driven decisions for the future.
What You’ll Do
As the Accounts & Finance Manager, you will manage the full spectrum of financial operations for Forum Group and ensure the business is well-positioned for sound decision-making and compliance.
Key responsibilities include:
Full bookkeeping oversight: invoicing, billing, bank reconciliations, and payment tracking
Prepare accurate monthly management reports (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow)
Handle year-end closing and finalisation of audited financial statements
Ensure compliance with SST, corporate income tax, withholding tax, and e-invoicing (MyInvois)
Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and regulatory authorities
Manage payroll processing, including salary payments, statutory contributions (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB), and employee claims
Manage inventory stock count and adjustments for retail and F&B items
Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning across multiple outlets
Manage outgoing payments and transactions
Maintain and improve internal controls and accounting processes
Who We’re Looking For
Education & Experience:
Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
At least 3–5 years of experience in accounting or finance roles
Strong experience in finalising audited financial statements
Familiarity with SST, corporate tax, withholding tax, and e-invoicing
Experience working with inventory and retail accounting is a plus
Technical Skills:
Proficient in Xero or able to adapt to new accounting systems quickly
Confident using online banking platforms to process payments
Solid working knowledge of Excel
Soft Skills:
Highly organised, detail-oriented, and self-driven
Able to work independently in a remote environment
Comfortable working cross-functionally with non-finance team members
Strong communication and time management skills
