Job summary
A healthcare service provider in Malaysia is seeking a Finance Officer responsible for day-to-day accounting operations, cash reporting, and tax compliance. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Accounting with at least 1 year of experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently are essential. This position requires transportation and is located in Desa Sri Hartamas.
Qualifications

Purpose of Job
- Responsible for a wide range of finance functions, including treasury, financial accounting and reporting, general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, asset management, as well as audit and tax compliance. In addition, actively contribute to finance transformation initiatives and process improvements.
Principal Accountabilities:
- Handle day-to-day accounting and finance operations
- Reconcile unapplied cash receipts by identifying exceptions and discrepancy and match to the invoices
- Prepare monthly cash reports, monthly bank reconciliations and journal entries
- Handle the timely preparation of month-end closing reports and schedules
- Handle SST and Tax Accounting, Reporting and Filing
- Identify and drive continuous improvement of finance processes
- Undertake ad hoc duties assigned from time to time
Requirements
- Minimum Degree in Accounting or similar certification with at least 1 year of relevant working experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and is a team player
- Resourceful, meticulous, organized, independent and able to multi-task
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Working knowledge of ABSS (MYOB) & ERP Accounting Systems would be advantageous
- Must be proficient in both written and spoken English
