A leading scrap ferrous metal trader in Malaysia seeks a qualified Accounts Executive. This role encompasses coordinating accounts, GL reporting, and preparing financial reports. Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years experience specializing in GL reporting and full set of accounts.
• Candidate must possess a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Accountancy.
• Previous Audit experience is an advantage.

Job description

Coordinate and perform full set of accounts and to ensure timely closing of monthly accounts;

Perform journal entries and make necessary adjustments accordingly;

Ensure accurate and appropriate recording and analysis of revenues and expenditures;

Update, reconcile and administer the fixed assets record, and to prepare and maintain supporting schedules;

To assist in the preparation of other company’s supplementary reports on monthly, quarterly, half yearly and yearly basis for management, audit and statutory purposes.

Monitoring in the issuance of Debit Notes and Credit Notes of the company and maintain the filing system on systematic and timely manner.

Perform any other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Minimum 3 years experience specializing in GL reporting and full set of account is required;

Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree, Finance/Accountancy or equivalent

Previous Audit experience will be added advantages

Knowledge in ERP Accounting System

Proficient in Microsoft Office, i.e.: Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Candidate who excellent in speak, read and write in Mandarin will be an advantage
