Accounts Executive (Site Office – Property & Facilities Management)

Rahim & Co International is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Executive to manage financial operations at the site office under the Property & Facilities Management Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing accounts receivables, accounts payables, and financial reporting to ensure compliance with accounting standards and operational efficiency.

Prepare and issue monthly billings, including applicable late payment interest charges, in a timely manner.

Process official receipts for collections and maintain accurate records.

Monitor accounts receivables aging, follow up on outstanding balances, and implement effective credit control measures.

Track daily collections and conduct bank reconciliations (daily, weekly, and monthly) against bank statements.

Liaise with tenants, vendors, and stakeholders to address billing and collection-related matters.

Process payment vouchers and execute payments via cheque or online banking.

Generate purchase orders for approved procurement transactions.

Manage and reconcile petty cash movements, utilization, and reimbursements at the site office.

Perform supplier statement reconciliations to ensure timely and accurate payments.

3. Financial Reporting & General Ledger (GL):

Prepare and record monthly journal vouchers to ensure accurate general ledger entries.

Conduct analytical reviews of financial statements and support the preparation of financial reports.

Address accounting-related queries promptly and professionally.

Attend monthly financial meetings with clients and internal stakeholders.

Assist external auditors in the finalization of audited financial statements and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Support tax agents in preparing and finalizing tax computations and returns.

Monitor monthly cash flow to ensure financial obligations are met.

Provide financial insights and recommendations to enhance the efficiency of site operations.

Undertake any other accounting and finance-related duties as assigned by management.

Job Requirements

The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications and attributes:

A Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related professional accounting qualification.

A minimum of 1 to 3 years of relevant working experience in an accounting role, preferably within the property or facilities management sector.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in both English and Bahasa Malaysia (written and spoken).

Ability to work independently at the site office while coordinating with the head office finance team.

Proficiency in accounting software and financial reporting standards; knowledge of the Malaysian Private Entities Reporting Standard (MPERS) is an added advantage.

High integrity, professionalism, and a strong sense of responsibility in handling financial matters.

Willingness to travel to the site office location as required.
