Job summary

A leading company in enterprise software seeks an Accounts Executive to manage full account functions, monthly reports, and auditing processes. The ideal candidate will possess at least 2 years of experience in finance/accounting with a strong command of English and Malay. Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years working experience in related fields.
  • Possess own transport.
  • Must be Malaysian citizen.

Responsibilities

  • Handle full set of accounts and month-end closing activities.
  • Assist in preparation of financial reports and compliance.
  • Monitor debtor and creditor aging reports.

Skills

Good command of English
Good command of Malay
Ability to work independently
Knowledge of accounting systems
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)

Education

LCCI/Diploma/Bachelor Degree in Finance/Accounting

Job description

Handle full set of accounts, including month end and closing activities, ensuring accurate recording of transactions and providing timely financial information

Responsible for daily accounts functions that covers Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Financial Reports and Banking matters

Monitoring of debtor and creditor aging reports

Assist in preparation of payment reminders letters and monitoring of payments due and collections arrangements

Assist in finance, tax and accounts operation compliance and reporting

Assist in preparation of monthly management reports, cash flow reports, analysis reports, reconciliation reports and other accounts related matters

Liaise with internal auditor and external auditor

Responsible for any ad-hoc task assigned from time to time

Requirements:

Minimum LCCI/ Diploma/ Bachelor Degree in Finance/Accounting or professional qualifications from a recognized Accounting body with at least 2 years working experience in the related fields

Knowledge of accounting system would be an advantage

Able to work independently and willing to learn

Able to interact will all levels of employees

Good command of English and Malay, both spoken and written

Knowledge in Microsoft Office applications, especially Microsoft Excel and Word

Must be Malaysian citizen

Possess own transport
