Job summary

A leading company in property development is seeking an Accounts Executive to manage day-to-day accounting operations and ensure compliance with accounting standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance/accountancy, with at least 3 years of experience, and be fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to financial reporting and liaise with various stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • At least 3 years of relevant working experience.
  • Experience in the property development industry is an added advantage.
  • Ability to work independently under minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Involvement in day-to-day accounting operations for property accounts.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting closing and financial analysis.
  • Liaise with auditors, tax agents, and other professional bodies.

Join Our Team as an Accounts Executive!

Are you detail-oriented, organized, and passionate about numbers? We’re looking for a dedicated Accounts Executive to join our growing team! If you have a strong understanding of accounting principles and enjoy working with financial data, we’d love to hear from you!

What You Will Be Doing:
  • Involvement in day-to-day accounting operations for property accounts and maintenance accounts.
  • Maintain the accounting records in compliance with accounting standards.
  • Ensure timely statutory compliance.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting closing, reporting, and financial analysis.
  • Prepare inter-company reconciliation, bank reconciliation, loan reconciliation, and receivable reconciliation.
  • File and keep track of documents.
  • Prepare taxation computation and revisions.
  • Prepare audit and statutory financial statements on time, including Income Statements, Balance Sheets, inventory listings, Notes to Accounts, and reconciliations.
  • Liaise with auditors, tax agents, bankers, government, and other professional bodies.
  • Perform other ad-hoc tasks as assigned.
What We're Looking For:
  • At least a Professional Certificate, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, or Professional Degree in Finance/Accountancy or equivalent from a recognized institution.
  • At least 3 years of relevant working experience. Experience in the property development industry is an added advantage.
  • Knowledge of IFCA.net, SQL system, and CSS Property Management System is a plus.
  • Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia (Mandarin is a plus).
  • Ability to work independently under minimal supervision.
  • Willing to work at Petaling Jaya, Selangor.
