Accounts Executive (GL)

The person is responsible for ensuring the timeliness, accuracy, completeness, and relevance of the Finance reporting, including analysis.

Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for closing of accounts. Prepare and post all journal entries to GL to ensure no omission.
2. Ensure Control Amount in GL is tied to Inventory, Fixed Assets, AP & AR Aging Report to ensure there is no variance.
3. Preparation of GL Report, Trial Balance, Balance Sheet, and Income Statement from system and supporting/working schedules for Manager’s review.
4. Prepare monthly Inter-company Reconciliation to ensure all transactions have been accounted for.
5. Prepare Monthly Estimation Results timely for management to forecast future performance.
6. Prepare data and perform analysis on Management Report for Manager’s review.
7. Prepare Quarterly KLSE Report timely for consolidation and announcement purposes.
8. Prepare relevant finance reports as required.
9. Preparation and submission of SST on a bi-monthly basis.
10. Ensure integrity issues in JDE are cleared promptly to maintain the accuracy of the financial information.
11. Liaise with tax agent and prepare Tax Information and computations for tax purposes.
12. Liaise with auditors and prepare Audit Schedules and Reports for audit purposes.
13. Prepare yearly budget for the following year, monitor performance and capital expenditure.
14. Provide support and assist in process improvements.
15. Perform ad hoc tasks assigned by superiors from time to time.

Requirements:

• Degree in Finance or Accounting
• 3-5 years of working experience in finance
