Accounts Executive (Full Set Accounting | SST | SQL Preferred)

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accounts Executive to manage full set accounting functions at F&C Steel Technology (M) Sdn Bhd, a stable and expanding company based in Johor Bahru. If you’re passionate about accounting and eager to grow in a dynamic environment—this is the opportunity for you.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Managing full set of accounts (AP, AR, GL), including month-end closing and financial reporting.
  2. Preparing monthly supplier payment listings and conducting bank reconciliations.
  3. Handling SST filing, coordinating with auditors and tax agents, and ensuring statutory compliance.
  4. Verifying payments, preparing staff claims, handling petty cash, and performing online banking transactions for approval.
  5. Performing daily and monthly data entry using accounting software (e.g., supplier invoices, staff advances, utilities, etc.).
  6. Organizing and following up on supplier Statement of Accounts (SOA), utility bills, and bank statements.
  7. Maintaining proper document filing and retrieval systems.
  8. Assisting in tracking vehicle and property insurance renewals (e.g., LTA, road tax, SSM).
  9. Supporting loan and financing administration related to company or director-owned properties.
  10. Performing ad hoc duties including director’s business-related expenses and claims.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of full set accounting experience.
  • Familiar with Malaysian accounting standards, SST, EPF, SOCSO, PCB & audit process.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel; experience with SQL Accounting Software is an advantage.
  • Strong attention to detail, able to work independently after training.
  • Good organizational and communication skills.
  • Fluent in Mandarin (spoken & written); English and Bahasa Malaysia are added advantages. We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.
