Job summary

A leading accounting firm in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an experienced accountant to handle comprehensive accounting functions, prepare financial statements, and assist with GST filing. The ideal candidate holds a diploma or degree in Accountancy, has at least 2 years of relevant experience, and preferably knowledge of Oracle Netsuite. The role requires a motivated team player with strong communication skills.

Job description

The incumbent will be in Shared Services Team working together with both our Singapore and Malaysia staff on day-to-day basis. We are looking for incumbent who is motivated, self-driven and possess positive work and learning attitude.

Job Responsibilities:

• Handle full spectrum of accounting functions including but not limited to AR, AP and GL duties.
• Prepare monthly financial statements for reporting.
• Handle GST filing for Singapore Company.
• Involve in financial budgeting process.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities/or projects as assigned by the Supervisor.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Accountancy or ACCA qualification
• Minimum 2 years’ relevant work experience in similar capacity.
• Knowledge in Oracle Netsuite is preferred.
• Possess initiative, willingness to learn and responsible.
