Job Responsibilities:

1. Able to handle full set of accounts and all financial reporting activities.
2. Ensure timely and accurate monthly closing and yearly closing of accounts.
3. Prepare financial analysis and update consolidation of accounts to ensure timely delivery of high quality and accurate financial data.
4. Ensure financial and management reports are completed and submitted according to the schedule determined by the management.
5. Prepare inter-company reconciliation, bank reconciliation and monthly schedules (e.g., fixed assets listing, prepayment, accruals listing, etc.).
6. Ensure accounting and related system reports for accuracy and completeness. Ensure accounting records and systems are in compliance with company’s policies and in accordance with accounting standards and statutory laws and regulations.
7. Supervise accounting staff as required. Provide guidance, advice, and support to direct reports to ensure issues are resolved and addressed appropriately in a timely fashion.
8. Hands-on experience in handling taxation and statutory accounts; liaising with external auditors, tax agents, government, and other professional bodies.
9. Communicate with all levels for daily related tasks.
10. Perform other ad-hoc tasks assigned.

Job Requirements:

1. Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, or Professional Degree in Finance/Accountancy or equivalent from a recognized institution.
2. At least 3 years of relevant working experience. Experience in the property development industry is an added advantage.
3. Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills, proactive, and able to meet tight deadlines.
4. Knowledge in IFCA software will be an added advantage.
5. Well-versed in Microsoft Office software.
6. Excellent command of English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Chinese – both verbal and written.
7. Possess good analytical skills, meticulous, positive working attitude, committed, good interpersonal skills, and follow-up skills.
8. Ability to build good relationships internally and externally.
9. Multi-tasking is expected.
10. Able to work independently under minimal supervision.
11. Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
