Job summary

A leading construction company in Malaysia is seeking an accountant to manage financial records and ensure compliance with accounting standards. The ideal candidate will possess a degree in Finance or related field, fluency in Mandarin, and experience with accounting systems. Qualifications

• Candidate must possess at least Degree/ Diploma in Finance/ Accountancy/ Banking or equivalent.
• Experience in property development is an added advantage.
• Knowledge of computerized accounting systems and proficiency in Excel preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for preparation of a full set of accounts and timely submission of management accounts.
• Prepare and ensure timely payment of monthly installments and monitor cash flow.
• Liaise with external parties on auditing, tax, and other matters.

Skills

Knowledge in accounting practices

Fluency in Mandarin

Experience in property development

Familiarity with computerized accounting systems

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Education

Degree/ Diploma in Finance/ Accountancy/ Banking

Job description

• Responsible for the preparation of a full set of accounts and the timely submission of monthly management accounts with audit schedules.
• Prepare and ensure timely payment of monthly installments including cash flow monitoring.
• Liaise with external parties on auditing, tax, secretarial matters and so on.
• Maintain journal entries, analyses and reconcile bank statement and inter-company accounts.
• Any ad hoc assignments as required by superior.
  
  
  

Job Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least Degree/ Diploma in Finance/Accountancy/ Banking or equivalent.
• Knowledge in accounting practices and experience in property development will be added advantage
• Being well-versed in computerized accounting systems and Microsoft Excel is an added advantage.
