Job description

Handle a full set of accounts and daily accounting functions, ensuring accuracy and proper supporting documentation and recording.

Responsible for month-end and year-end closing of accounts, including AR, AP, prepayments, accruals, fixed assets, trial balance, P&L, and balance sheet.

Ensure all accounting records are properly updated and reconciled in the accounting system.

Prepare internal reports for the company by compiling information such as Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), and General Ledger (GL).

Monitor internal department budgets and expenses.

Manage creditors' aging, payments, and claims, ensuring effective accounting procedures including credit control.

Oversee AR activities such as preparing quotations, following up on PO receipt, timely billing, collections, and system updates.

Monitor AP by verifying invoices, liaising with vendors, reviewing, and preparing payments on schedule.

Maintain intercompany schedules and perform monthly reconciliations with related companies.

Liaise with auditors, tax agents, legal entities, bankers, and government authorities as required.

Ensure adherence to company SOPs.

Assist in preparing necessary reports.
