Job description

Diploma in accounting or equivalent with 2 years relevant work experience preferred.

Good team player, meticulous, independent, and possess good communication skills.

Prefer candidates who can commence immediately.

JOB SCOPE:

  1. Manage full sets of accounts, including GL, journals, AR/AP, cash, and fixed assets.
  2. Ensure timely and accurate month-end/year-end closings and prepare management accounts.
  3. Process and reconcile invoices, payments, and expenses with proper documentation.
  4. Prepare payments (cheques, GIRO, telegraphic transfers) in a timely manner.
  5. Handle intercompany transactions and perform bank, balance sheet, and account reconciliations.
  6. Prepare and process invoices, and resolve discrepancies.
  7. Compile statutory financial statements and tax filings in compliance with regulations.
  8. Prepare monthly cash flow forecasts and manage petty cash claims.
  9. Assist with stock takes and inventory cycle counts.
  10. Maintain vendor records in the accounting system.
  11. Support internal and external audits.
  12. Ensure all transactions comply with company policies and are properly approved.
  13. Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
