A leading company is seeking an Accountant to prepare accounts and ensure compliance with financial regulations. The role involves budgeting, financial analysis, and liaising with external authorities. Ideal candidates should have a degree in Accounting, relevant experience, and strong analytical skills.
Prepare a full set of accounts including monthly management accounts and financial variance analysis.
Ensure financial reporting compliance with the Companies Act 1965, applicable Financial Reporting Standards, Bursa Malaysia Listing Requirements, and Group Accounting Policies.
Prepare the company's budget and cash flow forecasts.
Support the implementation of continuous process improvements and internal control systems.
Assist with external audit fieldwork and respond to audit queries.
Liaise with external authorities such as tax departments, company secretaries, auditors, tax agents, and bankers.
Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the reporting manager.
