A leading company in the finance BPO sector is looking for an Accounts Executive to manage financial transactions and record-keeping for various clients. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and a few years of relevant experience, with opportunities for career advancement and exposure to international accounting standards.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Executive to join our finance team in a BPO environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting day-to-day accounting functions, managing financial transactions, and ensuring accurate record-keeping for multiple clients. This role requires strong attention to detail, time management skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, client-focused setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Handle accounts payable and receivable functions, including invoice processing, payment tracking, and client billing.
Prepare and maintain general ledger entries and assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.
Reconcile bank statements, supplier statements, and intercompany transactions.
Assist with financial reporting for internal use and client review.
Communicate with clients and vendors to resolve billing, payment, and reconciliation issues.
Ensure accurate and timely entry of data into accounting systems (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, SAP, or other client-specific tools).
Support audit and compliance activities by preparing necessary documentation.
Maintain proper filing of financial documents and ensure adherence to data security and confidentiality standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure financial operations run smoothly.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
Minimum 1–3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a BPO or shared services environment.
Previous or existing working experiences with Australian clients and/or companies will be an added advantage. Candidates will be given preferential consideration in this case.
Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP, MYOB, or similar).
Good command of written and spoken English and Mandarin ability to communicate with international clients is a plus.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Ability to manage multiple client accounts with accuracy and efficiency.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with multi-client accounting or outsourced finance processes.
Knowledge of international accounting standards (IFRS).
Ability to work under tight deadlines and adapt to changing priorities.
