Job description

Tatler Asia (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Accounts Executive to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, financial analysis, and financial reporting. We are looking for a detail-oriented professional who is knowledgeable in accounting principles, has excellent communication skills, and can work independently as well as in a team.

Responsibilities:

  1. Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable and general ledger.
  2. Maintain accurate records for all daily transactions and work closely with the Head of Finance to ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded and reported.
  3. Participate in month-end and year-end closing activities and financial reporting.
  4. Develop and maintain financial reports and records, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial data and perform variance analysis.
  6. Coordinate and manage audits, including liaising with auditors and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  7. Be positive, self-motivated, and take initiative to work extra hours if required.

Qualifications:

  1. Fresh graduates with an accounting educational background are welcome to apply. Possession of Professional Accountancy Qualification, Diploma, or Degree is preferred.
  2. At least 1 year of relevant work experience is highly preferable.
  3. Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, especially Excel.
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  5. Basic knowledge of accounting standards and regulations.
  6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple tasks with strict deadlines.
  7. Related experience in accounting or financial management is a plus.

The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. Proficiency in accounting software and a thorough understanding of accounting principles are essential.
