Job summary

A leading company in the trusted identification sector seeks a diligent Accounts Executive to manage full accounting functions, including reporting and financial analysis. The ideal candidate will hold a relevant degree and have excellent skills in ERP and MS Excel, with a proactive attitude to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

• Handle full set of accounts including general accounting and financial reports.
• Perform intercompany reconciliation and ensure timely billing.
• Assist in financial analysis and liaise with auditors and tax agents.

Job description

Handle full set of accounts, such as general accounting, account receivable, account payable, aging report, tax and staff claims. Finalize and close monthly accounts for local & foreign subsidiaries.

To ensure accurate, complete, and up-to-date monthly accounts, post journal and various reports.

Ensure accurate and timely billing and perform intercompany reconciliation.

Ensure follow-up on customers collection and SOA are updated on regular basic.

Ensure all suppliers’ invoices are properly verified, approved and effect payment within the agreed credit term.

Responsible for maintaining current and fixed assets module in accounting system.

Ensure fixed assets register are up-to-date and monthly depreciation are performed correctly as per company fixed asset's policy.

Responsible for bi-monthly SST submission before the deadline.

Assist in preparation of financial analysis, financial projections and any related report for management decision making.

Liaise with auditors, tax agents, bankers, company secretary and suppliers.

Perform any others ad hoc duties assigned by the management from time to time.

To carry out any other duties and job functions as and when required by the company or persons acting on behalf of the company.

Job requirements :

Candidate must posses at least a Diploma/ Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or equivalent.

Required skill(s): ERP, MS Office Excel, Computer literate, good interpersonal skills, able to work well in a team.

Minimum 3 - 4 years working experience in related field or fresh graduate are also encourage to apply.

Meticulous, possess the initiative to learn, committed, willing and able to work.

Strong organizational and planning skills, including the ability to juggle multiple tasks.

Detail-oriented and highly independent, has good time management and is deadline driven, able to work in a fast space environment with minimal supervision.

Positive and pro-active attitude.

Preferably Executives specializing in Finance - General/Cost Accounting or equivalent.
