A leading finance company in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an Accounts Executive to manage accounting operations, prepare monthly accounts, and assist with audits. The ideal candidate will possess a degree in finance or accounting, have 1-2 years of experience, and be proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office. Responsibilities

  • Handle day-to-day accounting operations including Accounts Payable and Receivable.
  • Prepare monthly management accounts and accounting records.
  • Assist in liaising with external auditors and tax agents.

Job description

Handle day to day accounting operation including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Bank Reconciliation

Perform data entry and prepare monthly management accounts

Prepare monthly accounting journals, ledgers, and other accounting records

Ensure proper accounting records are kept in place

Assist in liaising with external auditors, tax agents, and company secretary to ensure that all the statutory and legal obligations of the company are fulfilled

Undertake any ad-hoc tasks or duties as assigned by Accounts Manager from time to time

Requirements:

A bachelor degree or diploma in finance, accounting, or related qualifications

At least 1 or 2 years working experience in related field.

Able to work independently, multi-tasking, and meet deadlines with self-initiative

Responsible, reliable, meticulous, and a disciplined positive personality

Ability to speak in Mandarin will be an advantage to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.

Computer savvy with good knowledge of Microsoft Excel & Words

Experience with accounting software such as SQL and Autocount

Working hours 9am to 6pm (Monday to Friday), at Old Klang Road.

Office located nearby public transport such as LRT
