About the role

Dyamed Biotech is a regional company with Medical Device distribution in Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia and hospital equipment manufacturing in Batam.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounts Executive to join our dynamic team.

This is a full-time position based in Bandar Sri Permaisuri, Kuala Lumpur which will play a crucial role in the group Financial Accounting, Cash Management, Inventory and Project accounting.

What you'll be doing
  • Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely monthly and annual financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, for the regional operations.
  • Oversee the management of Inventory across the different entities and issuance of purchase orders.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards, regulations, and internal policies of Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia.
  • Management of Accounts receivables and recovery actions.
  • Analyse financial data, identify trends, and provide recommendations to improve financial performance.
  • Participate in the budgeting and forecasting process, providing insights and support for decision-making.
  • Liaise with cross-functional teams to provide financial information and support for business initiatives.
  • Assist in the implementation and maintenance of financial systems and controls.
  • Prepare or review payment vouchers, debit/credit notes, official receipts, bank reconciliations, GST, etc.
  • Prepare all journal entries for book recording and GL reconciliation in order to prepare the Financial Statements.
  • Maintain listing of amortization, fixed assets depreciation, accruals and other schedules.
  • Reconciliation, confirmation and follow-up of intercompany transactions and balances of all related group members and subsidiaries.
  • Maintain documented system of accounting policies and procedures.
  • Conduct physical inventories, reconciliation of inventories and prepare reports with variance analysis.
  • Monthly budget preparation and monitor cash flows, collections and payments.
  • Ensure proper accounts documentation is kept and filed and maintain proper filing systems to ensure easy retrieval of records and record integrity.
  • Assist in any ad-hoc duties as required.
What we're looking for
  • A bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • A professional accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, or CIMA).
  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar regional accounting role, preferably within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
  • Excellent knowledge of financial accounting principles, reporting standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret financial data and provide meaningful insights.
  • Proficient in the use of financial software and data analysis tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
