Accounts Executive

About the role

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Accounts Executive to join our dynamic team at BGP NETWORK (M) SDN. BHD. In this full-time role based in Kuala Lumpur, you will be responsible for executing a range of financial accounting and reporting tasks essential to our organisation's success.

What you'll be doing

1. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts receivable and payable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
2. Preparing monthly and annual financial statements and reports.
3. Assisting with the preparation of budgets, cash flow projections, and other financial analyses.
4. Processing invoices, ensuring timely payments, and following up on outstanding balances.
5. Liaising with internal and external stakeholders, such as clients, vendors, and auditors.
6. Providing support for month-end and year-end closing procedures.
7. Adhering to all relevant accounting standards, policies, and regulations.

What we're looking for

1. Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar accounts executive or financial accounting role.
2. Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles, procedures, and reporting standards.
3. Proficient in the use of accounting software and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
4. Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with a high degree of accuracy.
5. Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
6. A professional, organised, and proactive approach to work.
7. Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
