We are looking for a meticulous and organized Accounts cum Admin Executive to join our team in Ulu Tiram. This role will primarily focus on accounting and administrative duties, with some support for HR-related tasks.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Accounting:

  • Handle partial sets of accounts, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, bank reconciliations, and monthly financial statements.
  • Support month-end closing procedures, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Calculate taxes, prepare tax returns, and ensure prompt payment.
  • Maintain financial records in accordance with company policies, accounting standards, and statutory requirements.
  • Liaise with government agencies, auditors, and other external parties as needed.
  • Manage general office administration, including filing, correspondence, and clerical support.
  • Support the team with ad-hoc projects and other duties as required.

Human Resources:

  • Assist with the recruitment process, including job postings and scheduling interviews.
  • Maintain employee records and ensure they are up-to-date.
  • Support onboarding and offboarding processes.
  • Assist in organizing employee training sessions and workshops.
  • Handle employee inquiries and provide administrative support.
  • Assist in payroll processing and benefits administration.

REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications and experience:

  • At least Diploma / Degree in Accounting, Finance, Costing, or related field.
  • At least 1 year of relevant experience preferred; fresh graduates are welcome.
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and HR practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Meticulous, accurate, with attention to detail.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience with ERP systems is an advantage.
