Job Description
We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Accounts cum Admin Executive to join our team in the furniture manufacturing industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling full sets of accounts, overseeing cost and inventory control, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations and company policies. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to contribute to the growth and stability of our organization.
Job Responsibilities
Assist with day-to-day accounting functions, including managing data entry and processing journal entries to ensure all business transactions (AR, AP, and GL) are recorded promptly
Process and record invoices, payments, and other financial transactions in a timely manner
Monitor payment and collections from Debtors
Ensure proper maintenance of accounting records, documentation and filling of the records
Control cash and bank balances, preparations of payments, bank reconciliation
Perform cost accounting and monitor inventory of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods
Monitor inventory and perform stock reconciliation
Manage payroll and statutory contributions (EPF, SOCSO, etc.)
Support daily operational duties and handle any ad-hoc accounting and administrative assignments as required
Job Requirements
Candidate must possess at least a Diploma in Accounting / LCCI or equivalent
Minimum 3 years of working experience in a similar role, preferably in the manufacturing sector
Strong understanding of cost accounting, inventory control, and local tax regulations
Able to work in a team with a keen sense of responsibilities
Knowledge in AutoCount accounting software system will be an added advantage
Computer literate and possess Microsoft Excel and Word knowledge an advantage
Proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin and English
