Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an experienced accounting professional to manage the full set of accounts and monthly financial reporting. You will coordinate the preparation of management accounts, prepare journals and cost reports, and liaise with auditors and tax agents.

With 3–5 years of closing accounts experience, you will meet deadlines, support payroll for Melaka, and handle ad-hoc reporting for group accounts, cash flow, and investments.

Qualifications

• Prepare full set of accounts and monthly financial reports.
• Coordinate preparation of management accounts.
• Prepare monthly journals and cost reports.
• Perform analysis reporting as required.
• Liaise with auditors and tax agents.
• Prepare audit schedules and related reports.
• Maintain accounting records with proper filing.
• Meet deadlines and work overtime when closing periods.
• Ensure closing stocks tally with GL month to month.
• Communicate effectively in English, both spoken and written.
• Have 3–5 years of experience with references for closing accounts.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely preparation and submission of full set accounts, monthly financial reports and coordinate in preparation of management accounts.
• Prepare monthly journals, prepayments, cost reports and do analysis report.
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, and other stakeholders.
• Prepare audit schedules and other reports.
• Ensure proper filling and maintenance of accounting records
• Able to meet deadlines, willing to work extra time to settle outstanding matters and during closing time.
• Ensure that closing stocks tally with GL month on month
• Can communicate in English in spoken and written
• Must have 3-5 years experience with references for closing accounts
• To assist calculating payroll for Melaka office ( under company branch Fungo Malaysia Sdn Bhd )
• Ad-hoc or regular reporting responsibilities as requested by management regarding Group accounts, cash flow, investments and etc.
