A leading company in the finance sector is looking for a remote Accounts Assistant. The role involves managing full-set accounts, supporting clients with financial transactions, and ensuring compliance with regulations. Ideal candidates will have a tertiary accounting qualification and relevant experience, demonstrating strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Full-set Accounting: Handle full-set accounts for clients, covering end-to-end bookkeeping, reporting, and compliance activities.
Day-to-day Operations: Invoicing, general ledger entries, and support for POS and ERP to ensure data accuracy.
Bank & Cash Management: Payments, bank transactions, and related banking activities.
Inventory Management: Tracking and reconciliation of inventory movements.
Month-end Closing: Reconciliation of POS sales, AR collections, balance sheet schedules, and bank statements.
SST & E-invoicing: Implementation, submission, and compliance.
Statutory Coordination: Coordination with auditors, tax agents, company secretary, and other relevant authorities for compliance and timely submissions.
Client & Stakeholder Support: Deliver reliable, responsive financial support to assigned clients and internal teams.
This is a remote, work-from-home position with occasional in-person meetings when necessary. You'll collaborate closely with the team through frequent calls, real-time chats, and online meetings. We move fast, adapt quickly, and value clear communication as we handle a diverse range of tasks in a dynamic environment.
Job Requirements
Tertiary accounting-related qualification with 2 years of relevant working experience.
Proficient in MS Office.
Strong problem-solving ability to work independently to resolve issues.
Strong sense of deadlines.
Fluent in English (spoken and written), with added ability to communicate in either Chinese or Malay.
Comfortable with flexible working hours when required.
Stable internet connection required.
Immediate availability preferred.
