Job summary

A leading company in the accounting sector is seeking an Assistant Account Executive. The successful candidate will manage a full set of accounts, prepare financial reports, and liaise with clients. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply, and proficiency in Mandarin is required to cater to diverse clientele.

Qualifications

  • Fresh graduate/Entry Level Applicants are encouraged to apply.
  • For Executive Role: At least 3 years of working experience or audit experience preferred.
  • Proficient in spoken and written English, with fluency in Mandarin required.

Responsibilities

  • Handle full set of accounts including AR, AP, GL, bank reconciliation.
  • Prepare monthly financial reports and perform balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Liaise with clients on accounting matters.

Job description

- Must possess at least Higher Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Accounting.

- (For Executive Role) Must possess at least ACCA, CPA or equivalent above.

- Fresh graduate/Entry Level Applicants are encouraged to apply.

- (For Executive Role) At least 3 years of working experience; 1-2 years audit experience or working in an accounting outsourcing firm would be an added advantage.

- Computer literate (Microsoft Excel & Word / Preferably Buku/Xero/AutoCount Accounting).

- Good team player and willing to learn.

- Analytical, resourceful, organized, able to work independently with minimal supervision.

- Proficient in spoken and written English. Fluency in Mandarin (both written and spoken) is required to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.

- (For Executive Role) Knowledge in SST.

- Willing to travel to client locations within Klang Valley.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Handle full set of accounts (AR, AP, GL, bank reconciliation).
  • Prepare monthly financial reports and supporting schedules.
  • Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliation.
  • Process sales and supplier invoices.
  • Prepare and review SST returns for timely submission.
  • Liaise with clients on accounting matters and provide necessary support.
  • Communicate with external parties (auditors, tax agents, etc.).
  • (For Executive Role) Review subordinates' work and assist in workflow coordination.
  • (For Executive Role) Provide guidance and support to junior team members.
  • Perform any other related duties as assigned.
