Job summary
A leading accounting firm in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a contract position for an accounting assistant. The role includes assisting in routine accounting operations, preparing payments, and handling invoicing. - Assist in routine accounting operations including prepare monthly payments.
- Prepare coding for suppliers’ invoices and staff claims.
- Generate payment vouchers for Accounts Payable.

- Assist in routine accounting operations including prepare monthly payments, issue e-invoices and filing.
- Prepare coding for suppliers’ invoices, staff claims, fund transfers, inter-company e-invoices/ Debit Advice (DA)/ Credit Advice (CA) on timely basis.
- Generate payment vouchers for Accounts Payable (AP) and non-AP payments and process payments on timely basis.
- Issue e-invoices/ DA/ CA on intercompany transactions on timely basis.
- Assist in the filing of company documents on timely basis.
- Assist in the preparation of information required on ad-hoc basis.
Job Requirements
- Applicants must possess at least SPM or equivalent.
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Applicants must have basic knowledge of financial and accounting procedures.
- Proactive and able to work in a team as well as independently.
