A local accounting firm seeks an Accounting Assistant in Selangor, Malaysia. Responsibilities include handling client accounts and assisting with audits and tax filings. Applicants should have a diploma in Accounting, proficiency in MS Office, and strong communication skills in both English and Bahasa Malaysia. • Handling clients’ accounts – preparation and completion of full set of accounts using UBS accounting software.
• Managing and advising clients on processes and documentation for the preparation of a full set of company accounts.
• Assisting the audit and tax departments in the preparation of audited financial statements and tax filings to LHDN.
• Handling general administrative duties and other assigned tasks.
Job Requirements:
• Diploma / Degree in Accounting or equivalent.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia, both written and spoken.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to work under stress and meet tight deadlines.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
