We're seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant to join our dynamic team at Mega Fortris Berhad in Kota Kemuning, Selangor.

What you'll be doing

  • Perform data entry associated with accounts payable
  • Prepare payment voucher and cheque payments for non-PO invoice, monthly rental & ad-hoc payment
  • Monitor accounts to ensure payments are made on time
  • Adress and respond to vendor inquiries
  • Reconcile accounts payable transactions with vendor's SOA
  • Prepare accrual for monthly freight charges
  • Ensure timely closing of the month end in A/P
  • Assist in preparing for tax computation of MFB
  • Ensure proper maintenance of documentation and filling to support all accounting entries
  • Undertake any other ad-hoc matters as required

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 1 years' experience
  • At least a Diploma, Degree or a related field
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Words, Excel
  • Knowledge of basic accounting principles
  • High degree of attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
