Job Summary:
  • Availability to work on the following schedule:
    • Monday to Saturday: Morning, Afternoon, Evening (Saturday mornings only)
  • 2-3 years of relevant work experience required
  • Expected salary: RM2,500 - RM3,000 per month
  • Qualifications:
    • Knowledge of accounting principles and practices
    • Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software
    • Attention to detail and accuracy
    • Ability to work well independently and in a team
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills
    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
    • Experience in trading or marine transportation industry is a plus
    • Experience in preparing financial statements and reports
    • Ensure proper application of accounting policies during budget preparation
    • Supervise daily operations such as accounts receivable and payable
    • Oversee processing of pre-requisition orders within standards
    • Collaborate with the accounts and finance manager for smooth operations
    • Assist in preparing annual budgets and income-expenditure reports
    • Oversee bank transactions and reconciliation
    • Ensure timely submission of VAT and other tax returns
    • Provide customer support and resolve client issues
    • Maintain financial projections and budget variance reports
    • Ensure statutory compliance and support audits
    • Conduct monthly financial checks and housekeeping activities
    • Prepare and present financial reports to management
    • Apply accrual and prepayment concepts appropriately
    • Process payments, invoices, statements, and vouchers

    Note: The schedule is Monday to Saturday, with varying shifts.
