Job Summary:
- Availability to work on the following schedule:
- Monday to Saturday: Morning, Afternoon, Evening (Saturday mornings only)
2-3 years of relevant work experience requiredExpected salary: RM2,500 - RM3,000 per monthQualifications:
- Knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work well independently and in a team
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Experience in trading or marine transportation industry is a plus
- Experience in preparing financial statements and reports
- Ensure proper application of accounting policies during budget preparation
- Supervise daily operations such as accounts receivable and payable
- Oversee processing of pre-requisition orders within standards
- Collaborate with the accounts and finance manager for smooth operations
- Assist in preparing annual budgets and income-expenditure reports
- Oversee bank transactions and reconciliation
- Ensure timely submission of VAT and other tax returns
- Provide customer support and resolve client issues
- Maintain financial projections and budget variance reports
- Ensure statutory compliance and support audits
- Conduct monthly financial checks and housekeeping activities
- Prepare and present financial reports to management
- Apply accrual and prepayment concepts appropriately
- Process payments, invoices, statements, and vouchers
Note: The schedule is Monday to Saturday, with varying shifts.
