Responsibilities

• Handle accounts payable, including data entry and reconciliation.
• Conduct monthly bank reconciliations and maintain stock records.
• Prepare accounts aging statements and monitor petty cash flow.

Job description

Handle accounts payable such as entering invoice data into the accounting system, issuing payment-related documents, and creditor reconciliation.

Perform monthly reconciliation schedules and follow up on outstanding items (e.g., creditors, debtors, etc.).

Verify debit and credit notes for goods return, overbilling, discounts, and inter-company billings.

Prepare monthly Accounts Receivables and Accounts Payables aging statements.

Monitor petty cash flow (weekly & monthly).

Conduct monthly bank reconciliations, ensuring all payment transactions match receipts and bank statements.

Maintain daily stock records and perform monthly stock checks.

Requirements:

• Possess at least a higher secondary / STPM/A-Level / Diploma in Accounting or equivalent.
• Languages: Bahasa Malaysia & English; Mandarin proficiency is an added advantage.
• At least 2-3 years of experience in a similar role.
• Skills: SQL knowledge & proficiency is mandatory (Purchasing, Sales & Stock modules).

Industry: Healthcare and skincare distribution to pharmacies and clinics.

Company Size: 10-15 employees.

Working hours: Mon-Fri.
