A leading company in the construction sector is seeking an accounting intern to assist with monthly bank reconciliations, financial reporting, and compliance tasks. The ideal candidate should hold an accountancy diploma and have good written and oral communication skills. As part of a dynamic team, you will gain hands-on experience in managing accounts and financial records, contributing significantly to the company's operations.
Responsibilities
- Monthly bank reconciliation
- Able to meet tight date lines
- Closing of full set of accounts and compliance with relevant accounting standards
- Assist in the preparation of management and statutory reporting, taxation, audit compliance and
clearance, cash flow, revenue projections and company secretarial requirement.
- Prepares Payment Vouchers, E-invoicing , Receipts, Journal entries and Purchase Orders, etc
- Renewal of insurances and road tax company vehicles
- SST payments and LHDN payments
- Ordering of pantry items and stationery items
- Maintain current filing system.
- Daily cashflow
- Able to handle adhoc task assigned by superior.
- Knowledge and experience in Autocount accounting software will be an added advantage.
