Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance roles.
  • Basic understanding of Malaysian tax requirements (WHT, SST) preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and issue invoices, purchase orders (PO), and handle accounts receivable (AR) and accounts payable (AP).
  • Work closely with external accountants for reporting and compliance.
  • Handle HR administrative tasks (leave tracking, documentation, and filing).

Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and responsible Accounts & Administration Executive to support our finance and operations team. The ideal candidate will handle day-to-day accounting tasks and administrative functions while supporting our growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Accounting & Finance (70%):

Prepare and issue invoices, purchase orders (PO), and handle accounts receivable (AR) and accounts payable (AP)

Maintain proper filing and documentation of financial transactions

Assist in basic cash flow tracking

Work closely with external accountants for reporting and compliance

Work closely with external tax advisors to ensure compliance with all statutory requirements

Assist with WHT and SST record-keeping and documentation

Prepare basic tax-related reports for external accountant review

Maintain proper filing of tax invoices and receipts

Support month-end processes and financial reporting

Source and evaluate vendors for the best pricing and value

Liaise with external vendors and suppliers on procurement matters

Maintain vendor database and contract documentation

Conduct cost comparisons to optimize expenses

Administrative Support (10%):

Handle HR administrative tasks (leave tracking, documentation, and filing)

Support other administrative functions as required

Assist the Executive Leader with ad-hoc projects

Requirements:
  • Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

  • At least 1-2 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance roles

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheet, and accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks, SQL, Auto Count, or similar )

  • Basic understanding of Malaysian tax requirements (WHT, SST) preferred

  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to meet deadlines

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
