Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and customer-focused Accounting Software Support Specialist to provide technical assistance and ensure a smooth user experience for clients using our audit and accounting software. The ideal candidate will possess strong problem-solving skills, a solid understanding of accounting concepts, and the ability to collaborate effectively with both customers and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Support: Deliver timely and accurate technical support to clients using our accounting and audit software.
- Problem Solving: Troubleshoot, resolve, and document software-related issues while providing clear guidance to customers.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong customer relationships, ensuring client satisfaction and retention.
- Collaboration: Work closely with software developers and support teams to identify, escalate, and resolve defects or bugs.
- Compliance: Ensure all support aligns with auditing standards, accounting principles, and best practices.
- System Enhancement: Review and analyze support tickets to provide feedback and recommendations for software improvements.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct testing and validation to ensure software reliability, accuracy, and compliance with accounting standards.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in software support, customer service, or accounting system support.
- Solid understanding of accounting or auditing principles (experience with audit software is a plus).
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical users.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with ERP, accounting, or audit software tools is highly desirable.
