We are seeking a detail-oriented, adaptable, and solution-driven Accounting & Reporting Manager to join our Centre of Excellence (CoE). This role involves leading a team to deliver high-quality accounting, reporting, and advisory services to a portfolio of SME clients across retail, F&B, manufacturing, trading and services industries.

Candidates with prior external audit experience are preferred, as this position demands strong technical expertise, financial insights, and the ability to provide strategic recommendations for business improvements and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee a portfolio of clients, ensuring timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.

Review and validate deliverables prepared by the team to maintain high standards of accuracy and compliance.

Provide strategic insights and business advisory to support client growth and enhance operational efficiency.

Offer financial guidance, assisting clients with forecasting and budgeting to strengthen financial planning.

Recommend enhancements to internal financial controls, ensuring robust governance and risk management.

Coordinate with external stakeholders, including tax authorities, auditors, and regulatory bodies as needed.

Lead and contribute to learning and development initiatives, including onboarding new joiners and knowledge sharing with peers.

Manage client feedback proactively, driving continuous improvements in service delivery and operational effectiveness.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CIMA) is required.

Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience, with at least 3 years in external audit being an advantage.

Proven ability to analyse financial statements, evaluate business performance, and provide strategic client advisory.

Strong expertise in financial modelling, budgeting, and reporting.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with Xero, Power BI, or similar platforms is a plus.

Exceptional communication, client management, and presentation skills.

Ability to manage multiple client portfolios and meet tight reporting deadlines effectively.
